Oil Leak From small hole on engine head - Duke 250. Hey . Im from India and I just bought a KTM Duke 250 last December 2020. Within a week I noticed oil stains on the engine . (left side of the bike) immediately I called the service center they told to bring it only during the 1st Service,so they can have a look and fix it.

After they sell a new bike they switch over to synthetic on the first oil change. 2014 690 Duke with ~12K miles on it. Oil changed every 3K miles. Except for a minor amount too small to fool with at my first oil change, never had to add, oil level has always been close to the top of the site glass. No mods, all stock except for a fan switch I wired in. 31K miles now and not a drop of top-up needed between changes on my '16 SDGT. Just did a 900-mile day coming home from Daytona at 85-95 mph for the most part, loaded like a pack mule. KTM has the only owners manual that mentions possible oil usage. So they are aware it's a possibility and would like owners to keep an eye on oil level between xMXYOV.
